How long are the appointments?
Our VIP Experiences last two hours and our Off The Peg appointments last an hour.
Do you charge for your VIP Bridal Experiences?
No, our VIP Bridal Experiences are free!
Can I bring my entourage?
Yes we love hosting you and your entourage! We limit the number to four friend and family members because it’s an intimate appointment which is solely focused on our bride.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, if you would like to cancel please inform us at least 24 hours before your appointment.
What underwear should I wear to the appointment?
If you can, we recommend wearing white or nude knickers and bra. Although all of our dresses have been designed to be worn without a bra.. but don't forget your knickers!
Where shall I park?
There are numerous car parks within walking distance of the boutique. The closest is Vicarage Car Park, 17 Church Ln, East Grinstead RH19 3BJ.
Our Wedding Dresses
What size range do your dresses come in?
Depending on the designer, most dresses come in sizes 6 to 32.
How many dresses can I try on in my appointment?
A many as you wish, we don't like to limit you but we find that most of brides try on around 10.
How much do your wedding dresses cost?
The prices of our wedding dresses range from £299 to £2500.
What happens when I ‘Say Yes to the Dress’?
After we've celebrated the 'Say Yes to the Dress' moment we will take your measurements to ensure we order the correct size and you'll be handed your very own Lily Jacobs Bridal Boutique Goodie Bag!
Once we've finished collecting all your details we will then take a 50% deposit. The remaining will be paid when you come to collect your dress.
From the moment we put through your order, your dress will take between 5 to 8 months to arrive to the boutique. We will then arrange an appointment for you to come in and try your dress on again. You will then take your dress home with you.
The only thing left to do is arrange for you to meet with our seamstress to ensure your dress fits impeccably.
How do I pay for my wedding dress?
Once you have found your dream wedding dress we will take a 50% deposit, the remaining amount will be taken when you come to collect your dress. If you are buying an Off The Peg or a sample dress the full amount must be paid at the time of saying yes to the dress.
We accept all major cards excluding American Express.
How long does it take for my dress to arrive?
Your dress will take between 5-8 months to be made and delivered to us.
Do you sell veils and headpieces?
Yes we do, we have a wide range of veils and headpieces. We pride ourselves on only selecting British designers. All veils and headpieces are also made in the UK.
Do I need to bring my shoes and accessories to my appointment?
No you don't but please bring these with you for you fitting appointments with our seamstress.
Alterations
When do alterations happen?
Once you've collected your dress we will then book you in with one of our amazing seamstresses. This will be around 8 weeks before your wedding. The seamstress may want to see you multiple time within that 8 weeks, to make sure your dress is flawless.
How much do alterations cost?
We recommend you budget around £300 for your alterations. Depending on the work that needs to be done this may vary.
